Karolina Bik

In 2009, she graduated from the Higher School of Arts and Crafts and Management in Wrocław, at the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art, specializing in jewelry and gemstones. In the same year, she also received a diploma in jewelry and goldsmithing from the Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland. She gained her goldsmithing experience in the studio of Andrzej Bandkowski and at the Pukrop company.

In 2010, she established her own studio, where she creates both unique everyday collections and artistic jewelry objects. Her work is presented in solo and group exhibitions in galleries worldwide, including Poland, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, and China. When creating jewelry, the designer pays attention to material, technique, and function, but emotions are most important to her. She believes that jewelry is a carrier of memories and feelings. The artist is fascinated by the natural world, which serves as the primary inspiration for most of her projects. In her collections, she evokes forms of honeycombs, coral reefs, bird nests, and molecules.
