About us
MoJA is more than a museum – it is a manifesto of jewelry as a living language of culture, emotion, and identity. It is a space where craftsmanship meets magic, and contemporary goldsmithing art becomes a bridge between the past and the present.
Foundations and Context
Our historical foundations are firmly rooted in the long-standing work of the YES Gallery, which has supported, promoted, and documented Polish goldsmithing.
Mission and direction
Today, we’re taking it a step further! By opening the museum’s doors, we want to permanently share these unique collections and fully showcase how jewelry can be an extraordinary vehicle for emotion.
The Creator of the Collection
Behind the shape of this exceptional collection stands Maria Magdalena Kwiatkiewicz—an enthusiast, photographer, and tireless traveler. Since 1998, she has been collecting with remarkable consistency what is most important for contemporary Polish goldsmithing. Her interests, however, extend far beyond the borders of our country. During her numerous expeditions, she meets with indigenous peoples and learns about their cultures, acquiring unique jewelry. It is this jewelry that becomes the language through which she recounts her travel experiences.

The Team and Our Approach
Behind the museum’s day-to-day operations is a close-knit team of passionate professionals. We ensure that MoJA maintains the highest standards of content and provides tools for interpreting the art of goldsmithing. We place equal importance on the atmosphere of this place. We are an open and welcoming space. We really want our guests to feel at ease here. Spontaneous reactions, sharing opinions, and passionate discussions are always welcome!
Community and Experience
Our greatest desire is simply to move you through the objects on display and the emotional resonance they hold. We believe that the best places are created by people, which is why we are committed to building an engaged community around MoJA. We want our museum to be a safe and welcoming space for dialogue, where lovers of beauty, art, and good stories can meet, exchange ideas, and inspire one another in an atmosphere of mutual understanding.
