Alina FIlimoniuk
A graduate of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Since 2012, she has been creating under her brand, Filimoniuk Design. Her journey with jewelry began during her studies, during which she participated in numerous competitions and exhibitions.
The designer bases her work on combining traditional jewelry methods with modern technologies. Her hallmark is minimalism and geometry.
Craftsmanship, workshop technique, and a connection to local resources are of great importance to her. In her works, she also utilizes Natural Baltic Amber, giving it a modern character.
The guiding idea behind Alina Filimoniuk’s work is "mass customization"—a trend in design that focuses on creating products tailored to individual customer needs within a larger production scale. Since the beginning of her career, the artist has strived to design products that, although reproducible, possess individual characteristics. The shapes are unconventional, bold, and sharp. However, every product is designed with ergonomics in mind. Even the most avant-garde form must account for user comfort. This approach to design ensures that the jewelry is not just a seasonal ornament, but becomes truly timeless.
