Andrzej Jacyszyn
A visual artist, graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, designer, and creator of unique jewelry.
In his artistic and professional life, he has largely focused on painting and graphic design. In 1996, he began working as a graphic designer for "Rzeczpospolita," where he also published his own drawings. From 2007 to 2009, he served as the deputy art director for "Dziennik."
He began his work in the field of goldsmithing out of a need to confront his objects directly with their audience. He has presented selected works at exhibitions in Düsseldorf (1983), Sydney (1986), and Vienna (1988).
Andrzej Jacyszyn's jewelry is eclectic. The artist utilizes a wide variety of techniques and materials. His creations primarily feature natural stones and amber, richly set in large silver forms. The stones themselves serve as the starting point for his creative process, to which everything else is subordinated. He rarely repeats the same pattern, which means that Andrzej Jacyszyn's objects are typically one-of-a-kind.
