Jacek Byczewski

Master goldsmith, designer of jewelry and functional forms. Born in 1949 in Poznań. In 1973, he graduated from the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in the studio of Prof. J. Jarnuszkiewicz. He has been creating jewelry since the 1970s.

He has developed his own recognizable style, characterized by simple forms combined with elegance and modernity. In his designs, he utilizes steel, gold, and gemstones. His jewelry and objects have been presented at over a hundred exhibitions both in Poland and abroad. He is a laureate and juror of many prestigious goldsmithing competitions and a co-founder of two creative groups related to goldsmithing: the UFO Group and the MUZEUM Group.

In 2014, he was honored with the "Designer of the 25th Anniversary" medal. He is a member of the Goldsmithing Artists’ Association (STFZ), where he served as the Chairman of the Artistic Council for many years. He is an organizer of numerous exhibitions and artistic jewelry competitions, as well as a frequent jury member. He collaborates with many renowned galleries domestically and internationally.
