Katarzyna Zięba

Katarzyna Zięba has been designing and creating jewelry since 2004.

Driven by her love for the art of goldsmithing and precious stones, she graduated from the Higher School of Artistic Crafts and Management in Wrocław, majoring in Jewelry and Gem Processing. Subsequently, the designer deepened her knowledge of geology at the University of Wrocław.

In 2013, she completed Postgraduate Studies in Jewelry Design at the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, during which she became a member of the "Dziewiątka" goldsmithing group. Drawing on the knowledge gained at these institutions and years of practical experience, Kasia Zięba crafts every piece of jewelry by hand with meticulous attention to detail. She draws inspiration from nature, geometry, art, music, emotions, and human personalities, resulting in incredibly diverse collections. Over the years, her work has featured photography, wood, gold, silver, aluminum, copper, brass, felt, stones, glass, plexiglass, textiles, and enamels.

The designer is a member of the Goldsmithing Artists' Association and has numerous exhibitions and competition entries to her credit. Since 2019, she has been collaborating with the National Museum in Wrocław to create unique jewelry collections. These works reference masterpieces by artists such as Magdalena Abakanowicz, Kurt Schwitters, and Henryk Stażewski.

For years, Kasia conducted university classes, introducing students to the world of jewelry. Currently, she devotes most of her attention to her brand, ZIĘBA, and workshops held in her Wrocław studio.
