
Małgorzata Chruściel-Waniek
Małgorzata Chruściel-Waniek is a graduate of Russian Philology and has been creating jewellery since 2006. Previously, she designed and sewed clothing and handbags under her own brand. She lives and runs her goldsmith studio in Warsaw.
The artist is a member of the Goldsmithing Artists' Association (STFZ) and the National Guild of Artisan Craftsmen. Since 2013, she has served on the STFZ Program Council. Małgorzata Chruściel-Waniek has participated in numerous competitions and group exhibitions (including "Presentations," "Transparency," "Gramy!925," "25 Years of STFZ," "Designed in Poland," and "Amber Design Meeting 2016"). Her jewellery has been showcased at trade fairs in Poland (Amberif – Gdańsk, Gold Silver Time – Warsaw) and abroad – in Dubai and Hong Kong.
The artist's works are primarily made of silver, gold, precious and semi-precious stones, pearls, and amber. Małgorzata Chruściel-Waniek draws inspiration from nature, antique jewellery, and the materials themselves – the stones. For the artist, these materials serve as the inspiration for her work and the starting point for her jewellery design. Most of Małgorzata Chruściel-Waniek's pieces are unique, one-of-a-kind items.
