The bracelet where it all began
It all begins with a single, unique object that falls into our hands like a gift. For Maria Magdalena Kwiatkiewicz, this very bracelet from 1998 marked the beginning of her impressive Collection of Contemporary Polish Goldsmithing Art. Over time, it became a symbol of a passion that matured with every subsequent piece.
While designing this work for the "AMULETS" competition, the artist sought to capture the perfect balance between nature and culture. He transformed ordinary objects, often overlooked in our daily lives, into true jewels, elevating them to the status of personal talismans - objects held tightly in the hand for good luck, possessing their own souls and stories to tell.
The strength of this piece lies in its captivating contrast. It utilizes common, raw fieldstones paired with elegant, noble polished silver.
